My boyfriend and I recently took our first vacation together to San Diego and to be honest, I never thought it would be as spectacular as it was.

I have to thank Balboa Park for that.

For anyone that's never been, it's quite the introduction to California. I haven't been to the state or city since I was 4 and it was really quite breathtaking.

The cliffs and the sunsets and the waves.

But, Balboa Park in its own right is sooooo amazing. I'm a sucker for history and architecture and BP has both.
